“My grandad passed just before Christmas. On Monday they are getting rid of everything in his house… I managed to take a few keepsakes today. A set of dominoes he carved, his old Ray Bans, WW2 medals and a street guide to Birmingham were amongst the treasures,” writes Lauren Sissons.
